South West Community Fund

South West Community Matters has worked in partnership with South West Procurement Alliance over the past few years to develop and run the South West Community Benefit Fund. The main aim of the fund is to increase community facilities and community benefits, particularly for those most in need in communities through the provision of small grants. The focus is on supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds to become engaged in their neighbourhoods and communities and to support those organisations that are bringing about real change to the lives of people who live in those communities.

Priority is given to small charitable community groups but the fund did also consider other charitable activities. Over 50 community groups are being assisted by the grants.
